Bio

I have been a leader in British Columbia’s life sciences industry for over 35 years; most recently as head of drug delivery for a global specialty manufacturing firm.

Over the course of my career I have been involved in over two dozen acquisitions, start-ups or transactions related to the environmental, pharmaceutical, biotechnology and food safety industries.

I have been or am a director of numerous for-profit and non-profit organizations involved with national standardization, venture capital, genomics, trade, education, environment, community affairs and public health. I have consulted for international agencies such as the UN Development Programme.

I hold a B.Sc. in chemistry and an MBA.
