Bio

I am a leader in the rational design of lipid-based nanoparticles with advanced in vivo function. I have over 10 years’ experience in the design and evaluation of lipid-based nanomedicines, advancing our fundamental understanding of how lipid-based nanoparticles are recognized and processed within the body. I have developed innovative ways to exploit or evade these dominant interactions. Recipient of a Marie Curie fellowship, I have published >20 peer-reviewed articles in high impact journals. I obtained my PhD from the University of Leeds, UK.
