I graduated from UBC with a BSc. (Hons.) in Biotechnology, and gained clinical research experience as a student at BCCDC working in both the Environmental Microbiology and Zoonotic and Emerging Pathogens departments. My past experience lies in developing, optimizing, and validating novel assays for detection of pathogens.
