mRNA production and optimization; assisting in mRNA IP development

I am currently working on optimizing mRNA production and developing methods to automate the production pipeline of mRNA.

I grew up in Fiji, interacting with marine ecosystems, then moved to British Columbia to study biology at Simon Fraser University (SFU), with a focus on the optic sensory mechanism in pacific salmonids and zooplanktivorous fish species. After graduating in 2018, I took part in a collaborative project between SFU and the Tokyo Maritime University of Science and Technology. I then worked as a laboratory technologist for a genomics start-up firm and refined my practical experience in molecular assays before joining Nanovation in 2022.
