Bio

I am a biochemist with a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Dundee (UK). I completed postdoctoral research training in chemical biology at The University of British Columbia and in mRNA translation at McGill University.

I have worked on drug discovery at AstraZeneca (UK), as a scientist at Children’s Hospital in Ottawa, and in drug regulatory affairs as a clinical evaluator for Government of Canada (Heath Canada) at the Biologic & RadioPharmaceutical Drugs Directorate (BRDD). I co-founded and was CEO of PrimerGen Ltd, a European biotech startup focused on the development of novel treatments for Polycystic Kidney Disease.

I have published over 30 peer-reviewed articles, reviews and book chapters.
