I am passionate about life science and have over 15 years of experience working with academic investigators and biotech companies to advance early-stage innovation.
Throughout my career I have focused on the identification of innovative technologies, actively supporting company creation and growth, strategic partnerships, technology advancement and exit through Director positions on Boards as well as interim CEO roles (ARTMS, Sitka BioPharma).
I obtained my PhD from the University of British Columbia under the supervision of Dr. Pieter Cullis investigating the immunostimulatory and vaccine potential of LNPs. Following my PhD I spent 8 years at the Centre for Drug Research and Development (now AdMare) in various business development and partnership roles.
